HardnutZ Events

SlideUK ActionSport Tradeshow (12th - 14th February 2012)

www.slideuk.co.uk We'll be at this great ski and snowboard tradeshow showing off our latest gear. All the must-have brands will be showcasing their offering for A/W 2012, along with a rash of upstart brands aiming to take their place out there where it matters, on the snow, in the water, in the parks and on the street.

The London Bike Show (12th – 15th January 2012)

www.thelondonbikeshow.co.uk

We’re back again! This event was excellent in 2011 so promises to be twice as good as the organisers have promised us that the Bike Show exhibition area has doubled for 2012. Excel is a great venue and easy to get to. HardnutZ will be on stand LB400, the same spot as last year but bigger!

The Cycle Show 2011 (30th September to 2nd October 2011)

www.cycleshow.co.uk

This was our first attendance at The Cycle Show which this year was held at the NEC in Birmingham. The first day was a trade only day where prospective future customers mooched around the hall visiting various stands, ours included. We had some good positive feedback from plenty of people who hadn’t seen our products before and have since placed orders with us. Day 2 and 3 the show was open to the public and despite the disadvantage of not being able to sell our products from our stand, we did manage a nice number of orders which were dispatched during the following week. We have penciled ourselves in for next year already but will probably move our stand to a slightly better placed area!

Scotland’s Ski & Snowboard Show (15th and 16th October 2011)

www.scotlandsskishow.co.uk

This was the Scottish Ski Show’s second year after it’s rebirth in October 2010 and oh what a difference a year makes. Last year was fine for us as it was our first ever show but the public and other fellow exhibitors were not happy. This year’s show however was much improved on last year’s with a proper ski feature, more retail exhibitors and a better ratio of retail and travel. Ticket prices were more keen (£12 instead of £15) and the show also doubled up with the outdoor show in the same hall. Two shows for the cheaper price of just one last year! Disappointingly though the Apres Ski bar from last year with is televised “open fire” with real crackling noises was absent. We will defo be back next year and we have plans to make it even better for the consumer!!!

The British Ski and Snowboard Show (28th to 30th October 2011)

www.globalsnowshows.co.uk

This was another show that took place at the NEC but this time it was purely for consumers. It took place over 3 days over Halloween weekend. Although slightly smaller than last year, the show was well attended and was helped by the fact that it was over the half term week, making Friday a nice busy day too. We had our biggest stand to date (5m x 2m) and also introduced some visuals using an all-in-one desktop to play a slide show and video. The show is a great show to visit if you’re looking for a few pre-season bargains and the indoor ramp was good to watch too. Ski shows now tend to be adding an alternative attraction these days and Birmingham was no exception with a bike crew entertaining the crowds too. We expect to rebook in the near future if we haven’t already.
